Network Engineering of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital at Southern Medical University
Background of the project:
Southern Medical University Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine • Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Cancer Center is an affiliated hospital of Southern Medical University (formerly the First Military Medical University) and a national tertiary-level integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital.
Project requirements:
① Customer demand: This wireless coverage project can simultaneously cover the outpatient department, inpatient department, and office building of the hospital (including the outpatient department with 5 floors, the inpatient department with 6 floors, and the office building with 6 floors), with a total of more than 300 patients on 17 floors. Stable wireless WiFi services are provided to more than 1,200 fixed office workers, mobile medical staff and their related family members (a total of more than 1,500 people).
②. Ensure that the wireless network provided is safe, stable and fast.
③. It is required to unify SSID to realize wireless roaming.

The entire network is connected to the Internet through the WAN port of the egress router; the POE power supply switch is connected in series to the LAN port of the router, and the downlink ceiling-mounted wireless AP (RD-W45AP) and in-wall wireless
The AP (RD-W25AP) provides power and data transmission. The wireless signal is fast and stable, ensuring that all users on site can access the Internet smoothly.
Wireless coverage project site: According to customer needs, wireless WiFi will be covered in every room inside the building, and the stability and speed of wireless WiFi will be ensured.
