1. Project background
This project is a wireless monitoring project in Beijing Shidu Scenic Area.
Shidu Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Fangshan District, Beijing. It is the only large-scale karst landform in northern China. Shidu Scenic Area is a national AAAA scenic spot in China and a national geological park in China. On September 17, 2006 , UNESCO officially approved and awarded China Fangshan Global Geopark. The successful application of the park has added a scientific and technological global geopark focusing on natural landscapes to Beijing, making Beijing the first capital city in the world to have a “global geopark”. There are eight parks in Fangshan Global Geopark, of which Shidu is the core park of the eight parks – Shidu Park. In order to better manage the scenic area and ensure the safety of tourists, it was decided to install a wireless monitoring system in the Shidu Scenic Area.
According to the actual environment, it was decided to use a wireless video surveillance system to seamlessly build on the original transmission system and ensure economical, convenient construction and beautiful appearance. In this project, Fengrunda mainly serves as the transmission equipment provider for the wireless monitoring system, providing high-quality and high-performance wireless bridge equipment to ensure the smooth completion of the wireless monitoring system.
2. Project requirements
In order to build a wireless monitoring system with clear pictures, high early warning, strong controllability, and convenient timely command and dispatch, the following requirements must be met:
1. Ensure that the network is connected to monitoring points distributed in various areas to conduct real-time monitoring of various areas in and around Shidu Scenic Area;
2. Effectively avoid co-channel or other interference sources to ensure that the transmission picture is clearly visible;
3. Facilitate wiring and installation, shorten the project construction period as much as possible, and improve safety warning;
4. Effectively resist the invasion of severe outdoor weather and ensure stable and smooth network transmission;
5. Facilitate later expansion, maintenance and management of the system;
3. Scheme design
According to customer needs, to ensure clear monitoring images and stable transmission, Fengrunda decided to use RD-S400CPE outdoor wireless bridge as the transmission backbone equipment in the wireless transmission network. The bridge is waterproof, sunproof, and lightning-proof, and has built-in modules, eliminating the need for cumbersome power wiring.
According to the monitoring scope and distribution of monitoring points, a total of 40 pairs of RD-S400CPE network bridges are used and installed in various areas around the Shidu Scenic Area. In a one-to-one manner, one bridge receives the video signal from the surveillance camera. , and the other one sends the video signal to the monitoring center.
Managers can monitor the conditions inside and around Shidu Scenic Area in real time through the display screen of the monitoring center to ensure safe and orderly management of the scenic area.

4. On – site installation of equipment
Construction workers need to install surveillance cameras and transmitter wireless bridges at the front end, then install the receiver wireless bridge at the backend monitoring center, connect the NVR and monitors, and complete the hardware installation of the entire system.
The installation of the entire system is very simple, saving a lot of manpower, material resources and time costs. The control of each channel of image scheduling in the back-end monitoring room is very simple, which is conducive to optimized management.
During the installation, attention needs to be paid to determining the location of the monitoring center so that there is no major obstruction between the transmitter and the receiver. After the installation is completed, a valid IP address needs to be configured and calibrated and debugged.

5. Características of the plan
1. The design of the entire transmission scheme and the selected wireless bridge equipment are convenient, beautiful, efficient, and consistent with the project environment and project needs.
2. The wireless transmission system has low investment cost and high scalability. It can be realized by adding front-end equipment, transmitter and receiver bridges.
3. Through the construction of the wireless monitoring system, the urgent task of safety monitoring in Shidu Scenic Area has been successfully solved, which provides convenience for later management.
